Ryan's 8th Birthday Party

This year for Ryan's birthday he wanted to have a Harry Potter Party.  We began by deliver invitations.
Then we started planning.
The children arrived to platform 9 3/4 and were taken to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.  They then played musical chairs. The one that didn't have a chair was taken to the special seat where the sorting hat was placed on their head and sorted them into their house: Gryffendor, Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw.   Then they were seperated into houses and sent to potions with Professor Sydney Gerlach, Magical Creatures with Professor Jody Bradford and Herbology with Professor Jenny Smedley.
In Potions they made magic water, in Herbology they decorated pumpkins and in magical creatures they played eye spy to find all of the hidden creatures.  The kids had so much fun.  Then we had a grand feast of pizza, grapes, carrots and drinks that told their fortune.  We put a drop of food coloring in the bottom of their cups and let it dry and when they poured their drink in and said their magic spell it showed them their fortune.  Then Ryan opened his gifts.  We had so much fun. Thanks to everyone who helped make this birthday party so magical.  We love you Ryan.
