Football, Family and Fun!

The Teams: Daddy and Caden vs. Ryan and Matthew
The Cheerleader: Chloe
First: Make a plan
Second: Try to execute the plan-Caden toss the ball to dad, or just run with it, watch out for your brother, Chloe has the final say. =)

The Ice Cream Man!

Its a once in a life time experience as a child.  You hear the song of the ice cream truck day in and day out but that one day where your Mom or Dad says, "Yes, you can have an ice cream from the ice cream man," is a dream come true.  It is the best ice cream that you've ever tasted. You savor every bite and carefully protect it in hopes that it doesn't fall off the stick onto the ground. That would be an absolute tragedy.
Ryan chose a sour patch kid, Caden chose Spiderman, Chloe picked a striped one and Matthew chose Iron Man

For those few tender moments there is nothing better than the ice cream man and his ice cream.  Oh to be a child again and to find joy in such simple things.

Watch me Slide

It is amazing having a girl after having three boys.   She has brought a whole new dimension to our home.  It has brought out great qualities of kindness and caring from the boys.  She loves to pick out her clothes and her shoes, get her hair done, put on makeup and play with her baby dolls but she also loves to be outside getting dirty.  It doesn't matter if its dirt, rocks, paint, food or mud as long as its with her brothers.  She also loves to go down the slide.  We bought this for Caden when we lived in Joplin and it has been one of her favorite activites when she is in the backyard. The first picture is of her saying, "Hello."

A Rainbow

Bible Dictionary
Rainbow. An outward token of God’s covenant with Noah (Gen. 9:13; see also Ezek. 1:28; Rev. 4:3; 10:1). The rainbow no doubt existed before the flood, but with Noah the rainbow took on a new significance as the token of the covenant. JST Gen. 9:17–25 enlarges the terms of the covenant to include not only that the earth will never again be covered with a flood of water, but also that the Zion of Enoch will return and the Lord will come again to dwell on the earth.

After a terrible storm here we went out side to see this beautiful rainbow that went from one end of the sky to the other.  We could almost see the beginning and the end.  It was a comfort and a peace to see a sign of such beauty from heaven.  All things truly testify of our Savior Jesus Christ and his love for us.
