Hallowzooeen at the Tulsa Zoo Oct. 31, 2011

This year for Halloween we took the family to the Tulsa Zoo. It was even more fun because we had extended family here to enjoy it with.  It was wonderful to watch the kids go from booth to booth collecting candy.  They even had a huge pirate ship in the middle of the zoo that you boarded to receive your candy. The boys loved the pirate ship.  Great Grandad Dilks was the best at collecting candy.  He would use the following line; "Can you believe I came 2000 miles to get this piece of candy?"  It seemed to win over all the ladies and they filled his bag with a few extra pieces.   He was like a kid in a candy shop.

                                           You can't tell from this picture but Great Grandad was dancing with the sock monkey.  It was so fun to see him enjoy the experience.  He really has some great moves!!!!  Thank you for helping us celebrate Halloween!!  It was a treat to have you with us.
