The results are in!

Yesterday we found out that we will be going to Oklahoma State University for anesthesiology residency. We can't wait! We are so excited to be a part of this program and we are grateful that all of Trevor's hard work is paying off. The boys and I surprised Trevor when he came home from work yesterday by wearing our new OSU t-shirts and having a few banners hung about the house. It was a lot of fun. Caden wants to know when he gets his cowboy hat, boots, horse and gun. He was pretty disappointed when we left the store yesterday without a cowboy hat and boots. This morning, Ryan went running into his classroom telling everyone that he and his Dad were now Cowboys. I don't think there could be a better mascot for my boys. We love you honey and can't wait to start this new journey with you.
Thank you to everyone for your support, love and prayers. We wouldn't be where we are and
doing what we are doing without you. Thank you!!!!

The big 3-0

Yes, it's true. I turned thirty. I couldn't have asked for a better day. They boys spoiled me with homemade cards, gifts and even breakfeast in bed. We also were able to go to Chucke Cheese to celebrate Caden successfully completing his potty chart. I couldn't have dreamed for a better day if I tried. I sure love my life.

Christmas

This year we spent Christmas in Joplin. The boys had a really nice time opening their gifts and playing with everything. They played all day long until they crashed. I love the picture of Caden asleep on the floor. He ran and played and ran and played until his little body couldn't and he crashed where he was. Thank you to all of our family for the many gifts, cards and words of love. We missed seeing you this year and hope that you all had a wonderful time celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are so grateful for this amazing event and hope that we can share the joyous news with all.

Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve. The boys opened PJ's from Grandma and Grandpa Bright, read the Christmas story and sang Christmas songs. To our surprise it didn't take the boys long to get to bed. They even slept in until 7:00 AM.

Visit from Grandpa, Grandma and Auntie Shanna

At the beginning of December we had the wonderful opportunity to have Trevor's Dad, Mom and sister Shanna come to visit. We had a great time with them. While they were here we were able to visit Tulsa, OK while Trevor was at an interview. The kids couldn't have had a better time with their Grandma and Grandpa. They loved every minute of it. It was also very nice to have his sister here. She is such a sweetheart. We are so blessed to have such amazing people in our family. We loved playing games, making gingerbread houses and just talking. It was nice to have family around for a few days.
