Caden's Birthday and Bowling
We had a blast going bowling with family on Caden's Birthday. It was so fun to watch everyone try to do their very best. We had the kids with bumpers on one lane and the adults on the other. I think I would have had a better chance on the kid lane. We had some fun family competition going on. Caden enjoyed the gifts he got. He loved the cowboy outfit and the rope. He is trying really hard to learn how to rope things, such as his brothers. We were so glad that Trevor's family could be in town to celebrate on this special day. We loved having them and had a hard time letting them go. It truly was a happy birthday for Caden. 
Woolaroc
On Wednesday we got up and had Caden's favorite meal: Breakfast. Which included: eggs, bacon, sausage and pancakes. Then we went to visit Woolaroc in Bartelsville, OK. It is where Frank Phillips, the owner of Phillips 66, would go to entertain guest from out of town. It has a large museum with Native American artifacts, airplanes and other things about the refinery business. It always has a petting zoo and animals that roam the large estate. We were able to see many deer, a beautiful white elk and other animals up close. We even had lunch and cupcakes there. The best part was having so many family members around to enjoy the day with. It went by way to fast. We are so glad we had the time to spend with you. We love you guys.

Ryan's Baptism
On Tuesday, November 1, 2011 Ryan was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It was one of the most amazing experiences I have had as a Mother. It all began in January of 2011 when we started to talk to Ryan about the opportunity he would have to be baptized and become a member once he turned 8. We told him that it was his decision and that we thought it would be a good idea for him to begin to pray about it to find out if it was the right thing for him to do. Throughout the year we discussed and had FHE lessons on baptism and Ryan continued to pray. I will never forget the day he came out of his room and told me that he had decided that he wanted to be baptized. It was such a sweet moment.
It was also very special because we had so many members of our extended family that were able to came out to participate. Rob and Connie Bright (Trevor Mom and Dad), Brianna and Shanna Bright (Trevor's Sisters), Jan and Stephen Dilks, (my Mom and Dad), Angie, (my sister), her son Owen, and my Grandma and Granddad Dilks. We are so grateful for the sacrifices that were made so that they could be here on this special day. I will never forget when Trevor lifted Ryan out of the water and they embraced. It was such a touching moment to see Father and Son in such a sacred ordinance. The talks were wonderful and I loved the special music number. The sweet spirit that was felt when those little voices sang, "I am a child of God." We couldn't have dreamed of a better day.
We also had several of our ward family come to support Ryan. He is such an amazing boy. It has been a joy to watch him grow since he received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Just a few days ago I received a sweet message from his Cub Scout Master, Sister Harper, telling me of how Ryan took the time to help one of the newest scout boys who has some physical handicaps with his project. He cheered him on and assisted him with things he was having a hard time with. That little boy went from not wanting to be there to not wanting to leave. I am so grateful for Ryan's example. He is so knowledgeable about the things of the spirit. I look forward to watching him grow in the gospel and into a young man. We love you Ryan!!!
This is Ryan's primary teacher, Sister Kile. She is one of the most amazing woman I have ever met. She has been a blessing to us and to Ryan. Thank you for the love you have shown to him.

Hallowzooeen at the Tulsa Zoo Oct. 31, 2011
This year for Halloween we took the family to the Tulsa Zoo. It was even more fun because we had extended family here to enjoy it with. It was wonderful to watch the kids go from booth to booth collecting candy. They even had a huge pirate ship in the middle of the zoo that you boarded to receive your candy. The boys loved the pirate ship. Great Grandad Dilks was the best at collecting candy. He would use the following line; "Can you believe I came 2000 miles to get this piece of candy?" It seemed to win over all the ladies and they filled his bag with a few extra pieces. He was like a kid in a candy shop.
