There are two things that are official for the Bright Family right now:
1-We are headed to Joplin, Missouri for our third and fourth year of Medical School-July-2008
2-We are expecting our third. Due June 8, 2008
We are very excited about both and can't wait for the joy that both of these things will bring to our family. God has truly blessed us!!!

I am a Pirate King

Yes, that is Trevor. Being the great Dad he is he dressed up for Ryan's fourth birthday. It was a miracle that we could get our hands on this amazing costume. Thanks Angie, you're great!!!
Ryan asked Trevor for days if he would dress up like a pirate for his birthday party. Trevor never said yes or no so when Dad came out wearing a pirate costume Ryan was thrilled. It made his day to see his Dad as a pirate. Thanks Honey-We love you

Incredible Woman

TCarol Stephenson Gerrard, or Grandma Gerrard, as we called her was an incredible lady. She was so full of life, love and laughter and spent her days in the service of others. To me she exemplified the meaning of every member a missionary. She wasn't afraid of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with anyone in which she came in contact. She loved it, she lived it, and she shared it. She looked forward to Christmas time because she enjoyed donating afghans to the various charities. At her funeral services her Home teacher, a member of the ward, spoke of how everyone in the ward had something in their home made by my Grandma. She thrived off of family events and being around her loved ones. She never missed a birthday party, wedding, baby blessing, church program, ball game, dance recital or any other family function unless her health would not permit.
She will be missed.

October

We made it to October! We love this month and the many months to follow. Its been great. On the 1st of October, Ryan helped me wash the windows, put the clean dishes away, pick up the toys and anything else I asked him to do so we could put up the Halloween decorations. Now whenever we enter the house he says, "Mom, look its Halloween!" I love how excited he gets about everything. I knew I had kids for a reason: so I wouldn't feel so silly about how excited I get about things such as Halloween, Christmas, Birthdays, etc.
He chose to be a pirate for Halloween and Caden is going to be Tigger. They are both so cute. Now if I can only convince Trevor to dress up.
That's my Truck

It's a blog
Hello Everyone,
I thought this might be a great way to keep connected. We've started our second year of med school and are having a wonderful time. Time-Boy it seems to go faster and faster everyday. I will post some family pics and info when I have a little more time.
This is just to get started.
Love you all.
Mandy
