On the 17th of November Ryan was able to participate in his first pack meeting. It was so fun because he earned his Tiger Cub badge. He was also able to pin me with the Tiger Cub pin. We are so excited to have Ryan in Scouts and look forward to all of the things that he will learn and do.
That night was focused on the freedoms we have because we live in this country. They had the boys go from room to room and learn about the laws of China, Irag and Thaiti. Learning about each of those countries and their rights gave me a much greater appreciation for the freedoms that we enjoy here. It showed me that we can choose how we want to worship, how large we want our families to be, what job we want to have, how we want to use the money that we earn, that we can walk down the road to take Ryan to school and buy a pizza at Papa Johns and that we can worship God. I hope that we might always show Heavenly the gratitude we have for the many blessing we have been given by being citizens of this great country.
