Spring Break

Having Ryan home for Spring Break was so much fun.  We started the week off by learning a few things about the state of Oklahoma.  We talked about why it is called the sooner state, what the state bird is and what the state song is.  Did you know that the song OKLAHOMA is our state song?  Wow, I didn't.
We then made boats out of popsicle sticks and sailed them in the stream and pond at Centennial Park by our house.  It was so amazing to see how each boy came up with a different design and flag for their boat. I wasn't sure that they would float but they did and we loved it.    A few days later we visited the Air and Space Musuem. While there the kids were able to make a plane out of wood,  a rocket out of paper and launch it and Ryan was able to try the space mover.  It was so fun.  We ended the week with a ride on the pony at our local grocery store Reasors.  I had so much fun with the kids it was hard to see Ryan go back to school.  I look forward to summer and all the fun things we can do then.

The New Car

Here it is!  The new addition to our family: a 2007 Ford Mustang.  The baby!!!   We love it.   It truly was a miracle that we were able to buy this car for what we did.   I can't wait to learn how to drive it.  Until then, I get to ride in the passenger seat with the most handsome man alive at the wheel.

A visit from family

At the first of December we had the great pleasure of having Trevor's Mom, Dad, Shanna and Grandma Green come to visit.  It was wonderful to be able to spend time with them.  The time went way to fast.  Ryan loved having them visit his school and eat lunch.  We enjoyed the card games and laughter shared around the table.  We are so grateful to have such a wonderful family and our glad that they could come to see us and their newest grandchild.

Our new Little one

On November 22, 2010 I gave birth to our fourth child and first little girl: Chloe Elizabeth Bright.
She was born at  5:30 pm. weighed 6lbs, 9 ounces, and was 19.5".

She has become her Daddy's little princess and is a sweetheart.   The boys love to be around her and give her hugs and kisses. We are so grateful to have her in our family.

Caden's Birthday

We had a great time celebrating Caden's fourth birthday.  He coudln't believe that he got real cowboy boots and a hat.  He now thinks that we should move to Texas so he can get a real horse because Texas is the only place that has "real" horses.
He is such a fun boy.
He loves to be with his brothers and is the ultimate companion.
He is the shy and quiet one but loves adventure.
His favorite song is Nephi's Courage.
He loves the colors red and blue.
He wants to be everything when he grows up but I think he might follow after his Dad.
He loves to get out the doctor stuff and make sure everyone is the family is healthy.
He hates dinner.  It doesn't matter what you put infront of him for dinner he won't eat it.
We even tried using the spanish word for dinner in hopes that that would help.
He is a joy to have in our family and one of many miracles.
We love you caden.
